Change and rejuvenation
MoJoe Group Coaching
MoJoe Coaching has chosen the Möbius Strip to represent our company as a reminder that success is a continuous journey. You don't come back to where you started, but you do move forward knowing you'll have more to work with as you do.
The Möbius Strip has become a metaphor for change and rejuvenation. And as a coach, those are two critical components of a better personal and professional life for you!
Now, if before joining the opposite ends of this strip of paper you were to give one of the ends a half twist, something unique occurs. Pick a point anywhere on the strip and trace a pen line. You'll find that the line ends where it started implying that there is only one line, therefore only one surface. WELCOME TO THE MÖ–BIUS STRIP.

MÖbius
If you take a strip of paper and join the opposite ends together, then you'd create a cylindrical shape with two distinct sides - an inside and an outside. If you traced a pen line along each of these sides you would confirm the two sides because each pen line trace would end where you started - one line on the inside and one on the outside. Easy Peasy.
The möbius strip: what is it?
history
The Möbius Strip is named after mathematician and astronomer, August Ferdinand Möbius (1790-1868), who derived this physical anomaly and mathematical oddity. Since its inception the Möbius Strip has found many applications in art, technology, games theory, literature, etc.
The BF Goodrich Company patented a conveyor belt in the shape of a Möbius Strip. It lasts twice as long as a conventional belt because the entire surface experiences wear. Only the inside surface of a conventional belt will experience wear; the outer surface never does. It can't. So a belt fashioned like a Möbius Strip gives you more bang for your buck.
MC Escher, one of my favorite artists, found inspiration in the Möbius Strip as evidenced by two of his famous wood cuts.
Even the recycling logo we all know is based on the Möbius Strip. Check it out.
